Chayote Curry/Chow-Chow Kootu
Chayote Curry/Chow-Chow Kootu
Chow-chow/chayote is a easy cook vegetable and belongs to a squash vegetable. Kootu is day to day recipe which is prepared with the same combination of moong dhal, grinded coconut paste with cumin seeds.
For any kootu recipe, cumin seed is the keen ingredient which enhance the flavor, so keeping the cumin flavor more gives the desirable taste.
Tempering in coconut oil or adding the coconut oil at the end makes it flavorful.
