1. About the dish 

Beetroot stir fry/poriyal is a good side for sambar rice or any rice combo. Its one of very easy and taste good veggie.

2. Preparation time

Its take 10 minutes to dice the Beetroot.

3. Cooking time 

Its take 15 to 20 minutes to sauté.

4. Ingredients 

 Ingredients listed below serve's upto 2 people.

1. Diced Beetroot 
2. Red chili - 2
3. Curry leaf 
4. Coconut - 1 handful
5. Salt
6. Idly powder - 1tea spoon
7. Mustard seed - 1 tea spoon
8. Urid dhal       - 1 tea spoon
9. Vegetable oil - 2 table spoon





5. Preparation 

1. Start with adding vegetable oil to a pan, then add mustard seed, urid dhal and red chili, curry leaf to it.
2. Now add diced beetroot to it and sauté it for 10 minutes, add the required salt at this stage to cook the beetroot and sauté it for 2 minutes. 
3. Now finally add the grounded idly powder and grated coconut to it and switch off the flame.



Beetroot stirfry/poriyal is ready to go with the rice.
